Located in Ocean Township, NJ, A Kids Hair Co. is a salon designed to create a relaxing yet entertaining atmosphere for children. Our dedicated staff has extensive experience with kids haircuts and styling for boys and girls alike. We have child-sized styling chairs, themed stations each equipped with an LCD TV and Netflix. Not to be left out, we offer a full range of services for teenagers and parents too!
We also welcome individuals with special needs.
The First Haircut
We understand how special your child's first haircut is. To recognize this, we provide you with a keepsake certificate commemorating the event, along with a lock of your child's hair.
We Make it Fun!
At the end of every appointment, your child may pick a treat of their choice from our front counter.
Meet the Owner, Michele
My Story
Michele always had an affinity for cutting hair. In college she studied child psychology, then attended business school. When she graduated, she applied all three and opened A Kids Hair Co. Often referred to as the baby whisperer, Michele is adept at trimming the hair from even the most squirmiest of kids. When she isn't cutting kids' hair, she enjoys traveling with her daughter.
